Addicted to Apps

I’m addicted to Apps. Whether they are useful, utility based, pointless, inspiring or just damned right fun.

I wake up to an app. An app tells me what train to get and which platform to stand on.

If you’re simply killing time, or just waiting around… Not a problem there are literally hundreds of apps for that.

I’m gonna skim over the whole social networking part as it’s obvious and it happens sporadically throughout my day. However, I do like social media applications organised using flip book. It trims the fat and makes it feel like I’m reading a magazine, instead of checking out Jonathan Ross’s Twitter.

The best way of finding an app is stumbling upon one, or being recommended one by a trusted friend. You shouldn’t go looking for apps, they find you!
As I write this (on an app), another app alerted me to tell me it’s my friends birthday. I love apps they are so considerate and they never forget.

My favourite types of apps are those that merge together interesting blogs, pictures, videos etc. You can get lost in these apps and they take you on informative journeys that never end.

Some people might not get this because they find their way in the world on their own. I could be like them, but I like to be connected to my world and I’m a man of the times. I’ve got so much app to give!

In the future I hope that I can create life an app that will offer a positive contribution to other people’s lives – in the same way that the Xcode architects of the app world have contributed to me mine.

Maybe one day I shall have to form a new AA, Apps Anonymous. When the memory and batteries run low, where will I be?

Hello, my name is Matthew and I’m an app-aholic.
