Thinking Transplant
I wish I was an Art director instead
So I could easily turn off my head
I would no longer think
I would always drink
And ignore what the copywriter said
Sometimes we wish we could think different. Well, at least I do. You watch art directors easily scamp up what’s in there head and, boom, the idea is visually clear and concise. I just get fucked off and angry, and I am sitting there turning green whilst they’re sitting smugly with a loose grip of their sharpie. I just wanna rip it out of their hand and bury that fine marker 6 inches deep in their skull.Moving swiftly on from this rant… what I am wanting out of this scab post is for a nice hunky art director to come and sweep me off my feet and cuddle me and tell me that everything is gonna be all right. It is deeply frustrating for a copywriter when he can’t execute an idea visually because the majority of advertising is ingested through the eyes.
