The style of learning at the school is andragogical – our students take on a huge part of the responsibility for the learning experience. They behave as if employed in a studio. They pitch for business. They work on real briefs. In many ways, we simulate the culture and patterns of their working future.
We bring between 4-6 mentors into the school each day. There are 50 students, so their involvement is very hands-on and up-close.
The purpose of the mentors is to shower the students with inspiration, direction, motivation and connections. They are not there to teach.
Our mentors come from all over the creative economy. Many of them work for advertising agencies, but there are also people involved in technology, media, fashion, architecture, etc.
