Unit Purpose and Aims
The purpose of this unit is to;
In this unit the learner will learn about the policies and approaches to finding talent, retaining it and managing a well run workplace with motivated staff.
Learning Outcomes
Learners will;
1. Understand recruiting, inducting and team building in creative industries.
Learners can;
1.1 Explain how to find the correct talent.
1.2 Describe approaches to team building.
1.3 Describe how small businesses might offer training and induction programmes.
1.4 Explain possible sources of training funds from external agencies.
1.5 Describe how small businesses can create happy and productive atmospheres.
1.6 Evaluate recruitment agencies with the intention of finding the right ones to supply staff to their potential business.
2.Understand HR policy as it affects the creative sector.
2.1Â Explain disciplinary procedures
