1.1. Evaluate the key features of basic employment law in the UK
1.2. Evaluate the key features of basic employment law in the EU and how it affects and is different from UK law.
1.3. Evaluate and describe what responsibilities a company owner has to make their company complies with employment law.

Employment law is the body of laws, administrative rulings, and precedents which address the legal rights of, and restrictions on, working people and their organizations. As such, it mediates many aspects of the relationship between trade unions, employers and employees.
