Unit Purpose and Aims

The purpose of this unit;

Ideas for campaigns need to be tested, particularly when used in a  hi-tech delivery context. This unit enables the learner to understand the importance of testing and research in the creation of ideas for ad campaigns.

Learning Outcomes

Learners will;

1. Understand how to find relevant information.

Learners can;

1.1 Obtain information, options and design parameters which are relevant to the development of a campaign brief or product.

1.2 Analyse format and collate data and conclusions and circulate documents containing data and conclusions to project team members.

1.3 Analyse the data and draw conclusions

1.4 Produce documents setting out the data and conclusions and circulate to project team members.

2. Be able to exploit the research to produce a creative proposal.

2.1 Review the information available with the project team,

2.2 Produce realistic design parameters which recognise significant opportunities and constraints

2.2 Select design options for further development by the project team which meet the requirements of the design brief and which resolve a significant number of constraints identified
