Enrolment & Schedule

The next enrolment date is September 2025 intake. We expect students to be present full-time in the studio from 9-5, Monday to Friday for studying and collaborating with their peers.

£6,050 per semester (x3)

SCA offers a one-year, intensive course with six months of paid placement following completion. This means it's delivered over 18 months. 18 months of hard work. And we make no apologies for that.

Because if hard work isn’t your thing, then you’re probably not passionate enough to make a name for yourself in the business. And passion is what we’re all about.​ As challenging as the course is though, it certainly isn’t all work and no play.

We do our level best to make sure our students have fun and get as much enjoyment as possible from the time they spend with us and the rest of their intake.

AI Meets Human Ingenuity

AI runs as a powerful thread throughout the curriculum.

We teach students to use AI in service of ideas — not instead of them. From prompting to prototyping, students build confidence with emerging tools while sharpening their creative edge.

But make no mistake — this is a human-first course, where strategy and storytelling still reign supreme. We teach students to think like strategists, write like copywriters, and design like art directors.

Term One — Build the Foundation

Students hit the ground running. They learn to think like creatives and strategists — and move ideas from hunch to headline.

Core focus areas:

  • Idea generation & visual storytelling

  • Poster & print fundamentals

  • Typography, layout & design thinking

  • Brand building & personas

  • Creative strategy & problem finding

  • Intro to AI for ideation & research
Term Two — Elevate the Work

Ambition kicks in. Students begin building campaigns and learning how to execute big, sticky ideas that cut through.

Core focus areas:

  • Writing and crafting creative propositions

  • Scriptwriting, editing, and animation

  • Art direction, photography & layout

  • Strategic thinking and behavioural science

  • Case studies, iteration & feedback tools

  • Using AI for execution, polish & presentation
Term Three — Launch the Portfolio

Everything comes together. Students shape a book that reflects their voice and proves their value.

Core focus areas:

  • Portfolio development & polish

  • Job-hunting campaigns & side projects

  • Industry-facing case studies & content

  • Creative entrepreneurship & thought leadership
  • Preparing to thrive in a world with AI

By the end of the year, students graduate with:

If it is a good fit you will be invited to attend one of our Selection Days so we can find out more about how you think, and work with others. You’ll join us for a whole day to immerse yourself in our world, working with other candidates on fun tasks and briefs. It’s also a great opportunity to meet our faculty and current students for an absolutely honest view of what the course is like, and have any questions you have honestly answered.
