SOME STUDENT WORK
From time to time, the Dean puts some of his favourite work here. We can’t put all of our work up, because most of our briefs are live and confidential. But we hope that the ‘spec’ work we do show gives you a good impression of our students’ way of thinking.

The Brief: Choose any drug (legal ones only!) and advertise it in an interesting way.
These ideas gave us a rush.
———————–
The Brief: Choose any Channel 4 programme and make advertising so good, people will be talking more about your ads than the programme.
Here is what the students were tuned into this week.
—————————–
The Brief: Make people see King of Shaves as the smart alternative, positioning the competition as boring, predictable, superstar-endorsed marketing-led guff.
Here are the ideas that came out of the students’ studio this week.

The Brief: We want to show our imaginary client, The National Lottery, that we are always thinking of ways to grow their business.
The Dean wanted to see business innovation and an engaging transmedia campaign to get more people playing the lottery online.
This is what BUSK would have shown to our imaginary client.

The Brief: DFS are always holding a sale. This time they really mean it.
See the Dean’s four favourite ideas here.

These four video presentations are from some of our students’ submissions for Cannes Future Lions. The brief asked for ways of advertising something (anything) in a way that couldn’t have been done five years ago.

The next video presentation shows an idea from Oli and Mar to raise awareness of how to deal with Swine Flu. We set this brief when one of our favourite mentors nearly lost his wife to the disease earlier this year.

Inside this slide-show is a fantastic, educational and engaging idea from Lewis and Alex for Oxfam.

This simple idea for Clinique was conceived and beautifully art directed by Corryn

Jon and Alex produced this excellent print ad for the School. Great client too!
