Every time Marc introduces a new brief, he always ends with ‘have fun’. As soon as I hear those words I feel excited, but at the same time I also feel a little bit uneasy. Fun is the whole reason I’m here. But sometimes I think to myself ‘what about if I won’t be able to have fun?’. I never want the fun to become a chore. The pressure is on and no matter how long you have, there’s never enough time. I admit that most of the unnecessary pressure is my own fault, but it’s only because I want to create something great. When things start to become less fun and more serious it’s very easy to drift away from a great insight and become caught up in the small details. It’s important not to lose sight of the whole picture. We learn most when playing. Everything just flows and ideas happen naturally. Sometimes I think it’s easy to forget that it’s all about having fun.
If you think about something you really like doing, you do it because it’s fun. It would have been the very first feeling you felt when you started. It’s also the reason you continued. It’s later on that you develop a passion for it.
If you enjoy what you do, you’ll never have to work a day in your life. Also remember not to take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.
I always want to be having fun.
If it’s not fun, then why do it?
