Tis the season for reflection

This term has been a rollercoaster. I have learnt so much about advertising, more than I could imagine and improved my Adobe skills (shout out to Ian, my strategy (shout out to Uri), and much more, thanks to all the mentors and staff at SCA. Even during the worst of times, I’ve been grateful to go in every day and see what more I can accomplish. SCA is the best and scariest decision I have ever made, and I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Every week we have to reflect on what we learnt that week, whether a 1080 x 1080 gif, a YouTube video, an ai image or a photo. As long as it ‘met the brief’ that Marc set, we had lots of room to explore. My reflections have been fascinating to look back on, not just because I presented something I had internalised but due to the nature of quality. Depending on many variables handed to us, our creativity excelled or dipped. My main reason, however, was that I wanted to impress my peers and mentors further into the course I was in.

Because of the eclectic and strange variety of reflections I accumulated, I thought I would create a video showcasing the good, the bad and of course, the salient. Enjoy the video and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Let’s hope 2023 is better.
