The Bodyguard (1992)

 

An unlikely pairing is formed when a beautiful, gregarious female and a strapping, stoic

male are brought together by professional circumstance. Initial suspicion between the two

fades when the working relationship proves fruitful; the priorities of both are subsequently

aligned.

 

Professional boundaries are blurred by a growing personal bond, and efforts are made to

rectify this. External forces increasingly test the relationship.

 

The strain begins to tell, forcing personal sacrifice for the sake of each other.

A catastrophic chain of events increases the stakes, testing both like never before. The

danger is averted, but only temporarily.

 

The danger builds to a crescendo, leaving one wounded and the other shaken. It is clear

that they must go their separate ways.

 

After brief recuperation, the two are reunited one last time. The mutual affection lingers,

but destiny has decided for them different paths. They part, promising to always keep each

other in their hearts.
