Thank you SCA
Every good thing has an end and here is the end of SCA for me. Because I’m not good at talking, I’ll just write it down:
I feel like I’ve only been here for 2 weeks, everything goes sooo fast here.
The 1st day I was singing a song about happiness and now I have to deal with 3 briefs at the same time.
I worked with so many people, so many points of view, and so many personalities and I learnt so much from everyone. But moreover, I learnt how to express my creativity and myself in my work.
To all the mentors a big thank you.
I learnt a new strategy from Uri and I am sorry if sometimes we don’t do it well and that pisses you off. I learnt some new ways of animating video thanks to Rob and honestly, I am not the only one who says that but, everybody needs a Rob in his life. Thanks to Ian, I’m now able to work without the grid and I love Helvetica! Just kidding: Always use the templates, the grid and never, ever use Helvetica. Thank you to Alex Taylor for being inspirational and showing us that perfectionism is not a bad thing. Big up to Gary and his illustrations that are my room’s decoration and also an inspiration. To Pete and the joy he brings every time he is at the studio. And to every mentor I didn’t mention.
The only representative of France in the school will now be Emma so COME ON GIRL! Obviously, I can’t have words for everyone but thank you.
Now it’s time for me to finish my Master’s degree and if any sponsor is reading this, I’m now available for an internship of 6 months starting in January.
If you’re curious enough, here is the link to my website.
Thanks Shannon, Max, Marcia and Louise.
