The end is not the end – By @AliciaCliffe

The end is not the end

There’s a lot to be said for faking it until you make it.
The problem with that is that you need confidence to pull it off.
And confidence when your unsure of something is hard to grasp.
It’s really hard when you’re a new team.
And when you’re running out of time.
But, all of these things create pressure.
And pressure helps with getting things done.
Which means learning happens quicker.
And working quicker helps in practicing faking it.
There’s only three weeks left of school before portfolio day and It’s a scary thought.
We’ve been talking to old students about what to expect, and the best piece of advice i’ve had so far is not to panic.
The end is not the end.
Portfolio day is a great opportunity to grab with both hands.
But it isn’t the end.
You still have time to make work better.

To make more contacts, to get more feedback and to get better.

You don’t stop until you’ve been hired.
Or until you’ve got your second job.
Or ever.
Because your book is a representation on you and how much you’re learning.
So have confidence in your book because it shows that your moving forward.
And if they can fake it, so can you.
Lets be honest, they probably still are.
