Or are we?

When I say we are one, I don’t mean that we are one as in one person or one mind because we are all different, and not everyone will get equally along with everyone, but even so, you can still be one team.

I used to play water polo on an elite plan, and as a sportsman on a high level, every move you make are crucial to if you win the game or not, meaning that, every time you do something, you have to know exactly what your teammates are going to do as a reaction to that, otherwise you are going to lose the ball and maybe the match.

So you train hard, you spent time with your team and you get to know each other inside out, in order to be the best, because when you know each other, you are able to learn from each other at a whole new level, you are able to trust each other and you automatically become better based on the criticism and praise your team gives you.

So where am I going with this, well it’s simple, at SCA we have to be a team, we have to be able to seek assistance from each other, we have to trust each other, we have to give each other criticism, not in a bad way, but in a way that helps us learn and grow.

We are creatives, and as a creative I believe that our strongest weapon is each other, you can produce good work alone, great work with a partner, and unbelievable mind-blowing work as a team.

In my opinion.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that we are isolated at SCA, but I do think we can become better at being a team, helping each other to reach our full potential, and blow the industry away.

I need to become better at this, I need to get to know people better, because there are still people at school that I know absolutely nothing about, so I am giving it a try, I want to become a team that helps and support each other, it may not happen today or tomorrow, but I will try to make it happen.

“In order to be truly great, you must take the paths, that no one else dares to walk”

I believe that is true, and I believe that as a team, we can push each other down those paths, and help each other become truly great.

So let’s train hard and become the best that we can be.
