I get knocked down, but I get up again

Look, since I took my ex-girlfriend at the airport in New York knowing that I wasn’t going to see her for two weeks, I knew this year was going to be tough.I knew this year was going to be tough since I have worked in an agency in France, where I had to get an idea and do a presentation in less than 5 hours. I knew this year was going to be tough since I think I am a copywriter and as a French working in the UK it will be hard. I knew this year was going to be tough since I said to some of my friends that I was leaving Paris for a while and they were happy about it. I knew this year was going to be tough since I arrived in London and discovered the tiniest room I ever seen in my life with the hardest bed. I knew this year was going to be tough since I realised that I didn’t know anything about living on my own. I knew this year was going to be tough since I put all my hope and dreams aside to focus on my work. I knew this year was going to be tough since I heard my roommate fucking at 3 in the morning. I knew this year was going to be tough since I tried to find a good bakery to buy some bread and looking for some cake but couldn’t find one. But now let’s say that I went back to France after my trip to New York with my ex-girlfriend. I would have missed the most beautiful neighbourhood in London. Where people are praying, living and laughing on the street. I would have missed the opportunity of meeting the greatest creative alive of the world. I mean my heroes are living with me and that is pretty cool.I would have missed some of the nicest French people I have ever met and that I can now call friends. I would have missed the food that is delicious and terrible at the same time like Jam doughnuts (but mostly delicious). I would have missed the best laugh for crazy ideas and lovely ideas. I would have missed the thrill of diving into a place that is synonymous with creation and having the best Dean I could have ever dreamed of. I would have missed going to a church every day and praying for my life in front of it every day too.I would have missed meeting the most interesting people that bring their knowledge and charisma. I would have missed learning how to skateboard. I can do a small ollie at the moment and I go to the skate park often now. I would have missed learning how to do 3D models on blender, animating them and passing them on Photoshop to decorate them.I would have missed the opportunity to win a D&AD. Ps: It’s just life man.
