Remembering The Muller Ideas That Didn’t Make the Cut.

It’s been a while since we were officially working on Muller but I haven’t stopped thinking of potential new products.

I don’t know what’s wrong with me. It could be that I am subconsciously pushing for a job in-house at Muller HQ.

I’ve also been thinking about the products that never quite made the grade.

This is my opportunity to finally vent and get these *brilliant* ideas off my chest instead of repeating them to my girlfriend every night.

So, without further ado, here are the ideas that never made it to VCCP:

1 . Mull-Erection. Catering to men suffering with erectile dysfunction. Viagra infused Muller.

2. Muller: Let’s Have A Chat. When life’s got you down, share a Muller. Recommended by 9/10 unlicensed life coaches.

3. Muller: It’s Not You, It’s Me. The Break-Up Muller. A broken heart shaped take on the classic corner. It can be hard ending a relationship, but nothing says ‘the spark has gone’ like half a yogurt.

4. Muller Fondue. Pretty self explanatory and could be good for parties or a wake.

5. Muller: I love you. The antidote to the break-up Muller. Break off a corner to show your love. Never fully fleshed this one out, but there’s something in the idea. Maybe a Valentine’s Day special edition could be on shelves in the near future.

6. The MullerBomb. Muller’s take on the much loved JaegerBomb. Unfortunately, I never put this potentially delicious combo to the test.

In the end, it was a Muller Coffee Cup that made it through and wound up in my pitch. Not the most original name, but it served its purpose, a simple and feasible idea.

Far less exciting than the Mull-Erection, however, which I still hope to revisit someday.

Anyway, if you're still reading at this point, you must really share in my Muller fascination, and for that I say thank you.

This has definitely scratched an itch.
