My childhood dream has become my SCA nightmare
I used to hate school. Ever since the kindergarten school was the worst part of my life. My fellow students never liked me and teachers thought I was hopeless. I was afraid for every single bad grade since it meant I’m going to be in trouble at home. I lacked motivation and at one point I was even ready to quit. So it probably won’t be a surprise if I said that being sick in high school was the best thing to happen to me. 2 weeks of swollen tonsils, fever of 40 degrees and nonstop vomiting? Sounds like a vacation in Greece! Seriously, throw in diarrhoea if you please, it’s still better than chemistry. Now, even though I always knew that the traditional education wasn’t for me, it took me a long time to finally give up on it. I tried 4 different unis before coming to SCA, and each one of them was worse than the previous one. And again - being sick was just like a hard earned break for me. I hated uni, but most importantly I hated being constantly reminded that my worth lies in a stupid piece of paper. And then comes the SCA. The only school that has had a positive impact on my life. And for the first time in life I don’t want to miss a day. More briefs? Bring ‘em on!
