Welcome back to our chaotic little newsletter!
This month SCA hit Campaign headlines with a wonderfully written article about our oddball school by Brittany Kiefer, featuring HUSH intake and interviews from other alumni.

KRAK intake!
We started off October with naming our agency, the polls settled the vote and you chose... KRAK! Thanks to everyone who put in their vote helping us name the 11th intake at SCA. Expect to see a bit more of this name when we brand the studio with the logo in the future!
Find out more about the origins of our cohort's name by watching the winning video below:
This month, KRAK have been working on live briefs for the first time, exploring problem-solving with product design, creating thousands of SCAMPs and making kinetic type with the creative suite.
In the run-up to Halloween, we've also been churning out their first topical ads for the season.
Here are some of our favourites ads so far:
Student work by (from left to right) Dean Shein & Daniel Johnson, Lawrence Slater and Ellie Daghlian
We've also had our first round of visiting mentors in to talk to our intake after half-term, thanks to everyone who's come in so far to share their knowledge! We're always looking for people to join our mentoring scheme so if you're interested please email amy@schoolcommunicationarts.com for more information on how you can get involved at the school.
What have our alumni been up to?
Sending our congratulations to Darius Rodrigues from John intake on getting hired at And Rising, we wish you all the best!
Jem Bauermeister from John intake is making some amazing work in aid of Mental Health Awareness for ITV to #GetBritainTalking. Making its debut on Britain's Got Talent, Jem's idea paused ads for the nation to have a chat and speak about mental health issues across the country.
Hat's off to Nina Beyers from MOSH intake for getting featured in LBB for her work for Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
Nina recently launched her T-shirt range Nina's Nips in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, featuring some of our previous intakes modelling her brilliant designs to support and empower women affected by breast cancer.
